If you feel the need for a little shade, or you want to catch up on the game, you can head to La Cava.  This outdoor lounge is set up like a living room, complete with flat screen televisions.  The resort also offers a rooftop area with panoramic views of the Gulf.  In addition to the views, you can enjoy the outdoor sitting area with the fire pit, or relax with programming on one of the flat screen televisions.  Additional recreational amenities include a fitness center, lighted tennis court, shuffleboard, and a playground for the kids.  St. John Sundries Shop is located on site if you need to pick up anything you left behind.

If you’re feeling hungry, you can head down to Crabby Steve’s Beach Bar and Grill.  High Pointe Resort is conveniently located at the entrance to 30A’s East End.  From the resort, you can walk to Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach, and you are right across the street from the Village of South Walton with shops and restaurants.  Rentals at the High Pointe Resort average from $213/night in January to $471/night in June.
