 Destin and Miramar Beach HOA

if you’re living in a subdivision you’re going to have an HOA (homeowners association).  Almost anywhere you purchase real estate in Destin or Miramar Beach you’re going to come across an organized subdivision and HOA. What this means for you is that you will pay either monthly or quarterly fees.   These HOA fees go toward maintaining and upkeep of the common property.   This includes any of the amenities such as pools, tennis courts, fishing docks.  Beachfront and waterfront properties will have additional upkeep.   Beach walkovers and boardwalks often need repairing and maintenance. The HOA also collects money for landscaping and upkeep.  One of the things that you need to check out when making a real estate purchase is the financial health of the homeowners association.   It is good for HOA to have a reserve of funds in case something breaks or its needed to purchase something for the neighborhood.   The last thing you want is to have a special assessment.
