The Dunes of Panama are in a prime location being beachfront in the heart of Panama City Beach. Comprising four buildings spread across 1500 feet, the Dunes of Panama condos are ideal rental options for summer vacations. Renters have the option of choosing between Buildings B, C, D, and E.
Each building has different specifications. Building B, which is the oldest, being built in 1978, has around 40 units spread over five floors. Building E is the newest, having been built in 1985. As such, it is much taller than the other buildings, housing over 120 units.
Building C and D have 42 and 72 units respectively. Overall, the architecture across all four Dunes of Panama buildings is in line with other PCB beachfront condos. Each unit has an open-plan look, and you will find many of the units updated and looking very modern.
The floor plan for all units across all four buildings is pretty similar. Renters can choose either two-bedroom or three-bedroom condos with personal balconies.
Two-bedroom condos are usually 1050 square feet whereas three-bedroom condos are 1750 square feet. Each condo has a stunning view of the Gulf of Mexico.

Room Size
The 337 units are divided between 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom units, and 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom units. If you wish to move into a 2-bedroom unit, you will acquire anywhere from 1,050 to 1,286 square feet of space. For 3-bedroom units, you will acquire anywhere from 1,800 to 2,000 square feet of space.
Awesome amenities at Dunes of Panama
As for the amenities at the Dunes of Panama, each building has access to a specific facility. Building B has two heated swimming pools and pool decks. Buildings B, C, and D are closest to the Gulf of Mexico. The ground floor condos have a beachfront entrance in these buildings.
Additionally, Building C has shuffleboard, beach volleyball, and a basketball court. Building E houses an excellent seafood restaurant and grill. All buildings are close to each other. As such, renters can easily avail each amenity during their stay.
The Dunes of Panama resort offers a great variety of amenities that will keep you busy. This includes The Bar & Grill, which is located right next to the swimming pool so you can relax with a meal while taking in the sun. The Bar & Grill is open during breakfast, lunch, and dinner times, and you can choose to have foods such as donuts, sub sandwiches, and pizza.
Alternatively, you can make your own food with the help of outdoor barbecue grills, so you can have a cookout and enjoy a meal on a picnic table.
The Gulf frontage of this resort is 1,500 feet, which means that the Dunes of Panama overlooks a ton of wonderful beachfront. This resort also offers 3 outdoor swimming pools in case you don’t want to swim in the Gulf of Mexico. One of these pools is heated from the start of November to the start of May.

Not far from Building C of the Dunes of Panama is a place called Gator Country, an airboat tour company that lets you interact with many kinds of alligators. An impressive tourist attraction, Gator Country provides a learning experience where you get to know more about how alligators live in their natural habitat. You will also have a chance to see a 7-foot tall alligator named Bubba, trained by voice and hand commands to put on a show. Tours at Gator Country cost $34 per person, and $22 for children ages 2 to 12.
