Explore Coastal Dune Lakes

The natural phenomenon is unique and only very few places in the world have it and this beach being among the lucky few has two! The Eastern Lake and the Deer Lake, located in Deer Lake State Park are favorite spots, especially for swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding among many other activities. The incredible views make the visit here complete even when you choose not to engage in any water activities. It is best to bring a camera along for snapping photos of those precious memories.

The park not only hosts the two magnificent dune lakes but also boasts scenic hiking trails and lots of wildlife. There is also a tremendous variety of plants that are rare including the Southern Magnolias, wildflowers, spoon flowers, and lupines among many others.

Many people buy homes or condos in Seagrove Beach for the opportunity of birdwatching at Deer Lake Park and the surrounding area.
